The exercises and vocabulary practice tools available on our website are provided free of charge as a supplement to our published books.

4.1 Original Works Inspired by the Public Domain

Many of our books take their inspiration from classic stories that are in the public domain. However, every title published under Pentecost Publishing is a new, original work that carries substantial creative value of its own. Zofia Smoleń holds the full rights to these original adaptations and all the educational material they contain. Specifically, for each book we have:

• Paraphrased and completely re-written the plot so that it is suitable for language learners at different proficiency levels (A1, A2, B1, and B2), carefully controlling vocabulary, grammar, and sentence structure for each level.
• Written an original dictionary and included it at the end of the book, in the page margins of the paperback editions, and in footnotes within the e-book editions.
• Created original vocabulary exercises after each chapter, including crosswords, flashcards, missing-word tasks, and anagrams.

These elements represent significant independent intellectual and creative effort. As a result, our books are protected as original works in their own right, and all rights to this original content are owned by Zofia Smoleń.

5. Purchases

5.1 Direct purchases on pentecost.pub

You may buy e-books and physical books directly on this website. Payment is processed securely via Stripe. For e-books, you receive an instant download link by email. For physical books, we collect your shipping address after payment and ship via our fulfilment partner. Prices are displayed in your preferred currency (EUR, GBP, PLN, USD).

Refunds: For e-books, we offer a 30-day full refund — no questions asked. For physical books, the standard 14-day right of withdrawal under EU consumer law (Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU) applies. Contact us at [email protected] to request a refund.
