Où l'on parle espagnol

L'espagnol (castillan) est langue officielle en Espagne et parlé dans toute l'Amérique latine. Il est aussi langue officielle en Guinée équatoriale et très étudié comme seconde langue aux États-Unis, au Brésil et en Europe occidentale.

Grammaire et structure

L'espagnol est une langue romane surtout synthétique : les verbes portent de riches désinences de personne, de temps et de mode ; noms et adjectifs s'accordent en genre (masculin/féminin) et en nombre. L'ordre des mots est plus souple qu'en anglais et les pronoms sujets sont souvent omis car la terminaison verbale identifie le sujet.
